I've had a very rough day. This was due to many factors. I twisted my leg in the left knee joint and found out that after removing the casts, an operation for the meniscus was waiting for me. That day I also hit a new cupboard I had just bought and a mirror cracked in it. I was annoyed all day. In the evening, when friends visited us, I asked my partner not to smoke, otherwise we would end this relationship. And at my request it happened. I lost the person I cared about the most in the world. For a week or so, I tried to put everything back together, but to no avail. It's been 2 weeks now and I can't get used to this thought. I would love to get my heart back, but I don't think it's possible. What to do, how to control yourself in such situations?

Mr. Marcin! I do not think that the reason for separating from my partner was a single situation. I would advise you to reflect on the deeper reasons for ending your relationship. As for your emotional reactions, I suggest not trying to control them. Rather, I advise you to try to be aware of them and look for new, maybe less destructive ways to express your emotions. Regards.
