I would like to ask you what you can eat and what not for RA? My knee and shoulder joints hurt. I've read that you can't eat meat, dairy, fruit, citrus and many other foods. I don't know if this is entirely true. I would like to ask for an answer.

Food has a strong influence on aggravating or reducing rheumatoid pain. However, the diet in RA, with some exceptions, is akin to rational eating.

In your menu, first of all, you should take care of the right amount of fish. Eat them at least 2-3 times a week, preferably 150-200 g daily. The n-3 fatty acids in fish and the anti-inflammatory vitamin E are also found in smaller amounts in linseed, olive oil and walnuts.

Also, eat plenty of antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables every day. However, be careful with peppers, corn, potatoes, tomatoes, and eggplants, as they cause increased pain and stiffness in the joints in some patients. Avoid eating meat (especially beef), eggs and excess fatty dairy products (whole milk, cream, yellow cheese, blue cheese).

Avoid s alt, fried foods, sugar, coffee, and all alcohol.

These are general recommendations that can help relieve symptoms of RA. Regards.
