I have bouts of appetite for sweets. I can eat nothing all day, today I even gave a muffin with pudding to my friend, and when I came home I ate 2 packets of rice wafers and biscuits right away. I can't deal with myself. I would like to know if I eat a round roll with sausage grains or cheese and tomato every day, is there a chance that I will not gain weight and lose weight? Because I feel that these yoghurts are good, but for 2 breakfasts as a snack, not for the first breakfast. I could even have 3 meals a day, but unfortunately I have lunch quite late, around 18.
Hello Anna, The reason for bouts of sweetness may be a lack of control of blood glucose levels caused by too long intervals between one meal and another. It is natural that if we do not eat for a long period, we want to quickly add energy. This is what carbohydrates are best for. However, eating simple carbohydrates, i.e. sweets, fruit, honey, etc. after a long break from the last meal (i.e. more than 4 hours) causes hormonal imbalance and a large insulin surge. Some advice: eat 4-5 meals every 3 hours. Breakfast, 2nd breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Do not eat 2-3 hours before going to bed, so when you go to bed at 10 p.m., you can have dinner around 6 p.m. However, try to carry salads, sandwiches, kefirs, yoghurts and fruit to work so that in the evening you are not very hungry and that the last meal is not too hearty.
