My 13-year-old daughter has been treated for 1st and 2nd degree bladder reflux for 4 years. In November, she had her final urinary tract replacement surgery. Does such long-term treatment affect its growth? At 13, he is 148 cm and weighs 37 kg. It has not been growing at all for six months. What I should do now ? Who to go to? Is there a chance that it will grow?
Untreated kidney diseases cause poor development of the child, the dates provided show that the daughter started treatment at the age of about 9 years. Was she growing properly up to that point and was her height not different from that of her peers? Other factors such as nutrition, genes (whether the child's parents are tall) also affect growth. I believe that my daughter is under the constant care of a pediatrician, I suggest that you ask the attending physician for help.
