As soon as I can remember, the urine test result always contained the information "very numerous bacteria". 4 years back attack of kidney stones in December, repeated attack and diagnosis: pyonephrosis. I was at breaking stone twice, it has shrunk, but it is. Is pyonephrosis an indication for kidney removal?
You gave little information; the presence of stones in the urinary tract may promote infection. The infection-urolithiasis system can be a vicious cycle, therefore it is sometimes necessary to completely remove the plaque to get rid of the bacteria completely. In the treatment of urolithiasis complicated by infection with simultaneous impediment to urine outflow from the kidney, surgical treatment is sometimes used, and removal of the kidney is always a final decision, made only when other treatment is ineffective and leaving the kidney is a threat to life or he alth. I cannot say exactly what your case is. If you have any doubts, I suggest you go to another center or a doctor for a consultation.
