My husband developed phimosis as a result of chronic mycosis. He pushes the foreskin back with difficulty. Is removing part of the foreskin the only possible solution? Or is it possible that the mycosis is not treated properly? We have both been treating mycosis for over a year, we perform swabs and tests, but after a short-term improvement - the condition deteriorates again. The disease affects other spheres of our life - including the intimate one. The husband does not want to agree to the procedure, he has rejected all medications. I'm broken.

Madam,

I don't know how long my husband has had trouble keeping his foreskin back. However, I believe that as a result of the inflammation caused by mycosis, the changes in the foreskin are permanent and the only way to solve the problem is surgery.

After surgery, your husband will be able to take better care of hygiene, which may improve the effectiveness of antifungal treatments.

  • Phimosis - when the foreskin does not slide off
  • Penis mycosis - what do you need to know about it?
