Dear Doctor My friend, a person aged 29, had recently (once) very disturbing symptoms: shortness of breath, feeling of numbness in the hands, burning pain in the upper part of the chest, she also turned pale, it lasted about 20 minutes. The called ambulance arrived when she felt much better, the pressure was found to be too low (and from what I know this person has a tendency to increased pressure), an ECG was also performed, the paramedic stated that "everything is fine All right". I urge my friend to go to the doctor with this problem, but she is unconvinced, says that she is well now and there is no need to do so, although long before this fainting she sometimes complained of heart palpitations and feeling unwell. I will continue to try to convince her to see a doctor, I have only one question: What exactly should the tests be done to correctly and accurately diagnose this case? Thank you in advance for your answer. Regards
If your friend had a palpitations, it seems appropriate to have a Holter EKG test. However, first of all, he has to see a doctor.
