My brother had a stroke and was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation. She is 39 years old. Can this disease be cured?
Atrial fibrillation is an arrhythmia that is difficult to completely heal. Drugs are not entirely effective. Despite possible long periods of remission (without seizures), there is no certain cure. An alternative is ablation of the underlying arrhythmia (invasive treatment), but even such treatment does not provide a 100% cure.
