I have had problems expressing myself since I was a child, but since I started my studies, I noticed that this problem got worse. It consists in the fact that during conversations with friends I pronounce words incorrectly (they are incomprehensible to others), sometimes when I say something aloud, I analyze it in my head and try to pronounce it correctly, but it does not work out, sometimes I miss the right word and for a moment my mind is blank. The sentences themselves are also rather simple and short. Such "jams" happen to me primarily in speech. I don't know if it's an effect of non-reading or some kind of illness (I often have headaches and feel dizzy when I go to sleep). What can these symptoms be caused by? And if this is anything you are concerned about, where is the best place to start seeking help? At a neurologist, psychiatrist, speech therapist? I became more closed due to speech problems. I find it frustrating when I am having problems expressing myself. When someone does not understand what I want to convey to him, I feel like collapsing underground.
It's definitely worth consulting a neurologist. If all the tests are correct, then I would suggest visiting a speech therapist who will select the exercises. You need classes to break the fear of speaking and improve its fluency, and organize your knowledge, which will allow you to communicate freely with the environment.
