Is the light-cured seal in the case of an 8-year-old child reimbursed by the National He alth Fund?
As indicated by the National He alth Fund in Białystok,light-cured composite material (light-cured seal) is available to children and adolescents up to the age of 18 when filling cavities in three to three teeth in the upper teeth and similarly in lower teeth . In addition, light-cured composite material is en titled to perform services guaranteed to severely and profoundly handicapped persons, if it results from medical indications. It is also worth mentioning that adult patients are not en titled to the so-called light-cured but chemically cured seal. When performing guaranteed dental services, i.e. those covered by he alth insurance, we are en titled to the following dental materials: temporary filling material, calcium hydroxide base cements, phosphate cement, chemically hardened composite material for filling cavities in upper and lower teeth from 3+ up to +3, from -3 to -3 (i.e. from three to three in the upper teeth and similarly in the lower teeth), materials for filling root canals, gutta-percha points, alginate impression material - used to take an impression when preparing the prosthesis; fixing rails, ligature wire.
Legal basis:Order No. 94/2014 / DSOZ of the President of the National He alth Fund of 23 December 2014 on the terms of concluding and implementing contracts for the provision of he althcare services in type of dental treatment Regulation of the Minister of He alth of 6 November 2013 on guaranteed benefits in the field of he alth programs.
