For three months I have had a fever of 38 degrees. The tests are good, only platelets are lower - 120. I have pains in the left hypochondrium. It started with an enlarged lymph node in the groin that has returned to normal after two weeks, but the temperature is still there.
A low-grade fever that persists for so long signals that the disease has not been completely cured. Inflammation is still active. A high fever also shows that the body defends itself and fights. I suggest you go back to the doctor who will refer you for appropriate tests. Until then, please take care of yourself and dress appropriately for the weather. Please drink plenty of still water, which will help flush out any toxins from your body. It would be good to follow a light diet that will help you recover. However, please immediately see the same doctor who started the treatment.
