I've had a problem with two things for a long time. Namely, with reticence and shyness. Spending time with my friends, I'm always the least talkative. In one-on-one meetings with a girl, the vast majority of the time is silent, even if she is a talkative person. If someone asks me to suggest a topic, usually my response is silence. As for shyness, I never have the courage to go up and talk to a girl. However, when writing, whether online or via SMS, I have much less problems with my reticence. What can be done in my situation to overcome this?

There are different ways to overcome shyness. One of them is the shock method, i.e. frequent public appearances in front of large audiences. Personally, this method helped me a lot. Currently, I am a trainer and thanks to this I have finally got rid of stage fright and shyness. But for each of us, something completely different works.

At the very beginning, I suggest appearing in front of the mirror. Please imagine that the mirror is a friend you made an appointment with. Please speak naturally to the mirror and present the topic you want to talk to your friend about. Maybe the one you know?

Please also remember that not everyone has to be talkative and talkative. Silence means that you are a very good listener, which women appreciate very much. I think that also working on self-evaluation would be a good solution for you. Working on this aspect will internally strengthen the Lord and make you believe in yourself. I suggest consulting a psychologist on this matter. Regards.
