Hello I am still a fairly young woman (44 years old), but after a supracervical hysterectomy 3 years ago and removal of one ovary very quickly, because after a year, the left ovary stopped working. I am under the care of a gynecologist, I take hormones, and the condition of my internal organs is said to be good. However, I have a problem and that is why I am asking a question that I have never asked the doctor due to my embarrassment. And it is of great importance to me! Well, for a year, despite the hormone therapy, my external organs have definitely disappeared. The pubic mulch and outer lips shrank tremendously within literally two months. It causes unpleasant consequences when trying to have intercourse, but also ordinary daily activity is a great discomfort. Thin, flat lips do not adequately protect the clitoris, which when exposed to the touch of underwear, clothes, etc., simply hurts. Putting on pants has long been impossible. My question is, can this be somehow reversed? Will using topical lubricant hormones improve the situation? Or maybe the current therapy is inappropriate, since there have been such changes? I would like to add that I take the highest permissible doses of estradiol transdermally - at the standard level, the symptoms did not disappear at all. My problems seem quite unusual to me (I feel like a freak), I haven't come across an article or a question like that. Nevertheless, or maybe that's why, I am asking for a reliable, exhaustive answer, because it is really difficult to live like this - although my life seems to be safe. Yours sincerely.

Of course, you should use estriol preparations locally and vaginally in the form of globules.
