Hello, I have a problem with my daughter - she is almost 5 years old and has quite a large hole in her 4, she still has milk teeth. I went to the dentist with her, but I ended up with anesthesia and she didn't let herself do anything else, so we went home, but after a while the tooth started to hurt, so Grandma came up with a way to plug it with cotton wool and so it did. The problem is that she is terrified of taking it out now, and it has been going on for two weeks now. Requests, translations, surprises, toys do not help - just nothing. I don't have the way or the strength to convince her anymore, and I'm afraid it might be dangerous. Please advise what I can do.
I advise you to sign up your daughter for an adaptation visit to the pediatrician. During such a visit, the child gets used to the dentist's office. You can also sign up for a dentist check-up and take your daughter with you to convince her that there is no harm in the dentist's office.
