I would like to know if I am en titled to free tooth treatment? What kind of treatment is reimbursed? When can root canal treatment be performed in the NHF?

YES, it is possible for the patient to receive free tooth treatment under the he alth insurance. Endodontic treatment of a tooth with an infected canal, filling 1 canal (does not include preparation and reconstruction of the tooth crown defect). The benefit is provided with the exception of premolars and molars in people over 18 years of age. However, this reservation does not apply to pregnant and puerperal women who are en titled to free dental treatment. Free dental treatment is provided to children and adolescents up to the age of 18. The reimbursed types of treatment include:

-Dental medical examination with instruction on oral hygiene once every 12 months

- Medical checkups 3 times in a 12-month period

- Intraoral dental photograph

-Local surface anesthesia as a stand-alone anesthesia

-Local infiltration anesthesia

- Intraoral conduction anesthesia

-Treatment of superficial caries - for each tooth

- Healing dressing in the permanent tooth

-Removal of plaque for every 1/2 of the dental arch once in 12 months within the entire dentition

-Treatment of lesions on the oral mucosa (includes every visit)

-Removal of a single-root / multi-root tooth

- Tooth removal by intra-alveolar chiselling using drills, lever

-Filling missing teeth with a partial denture only with straight bent clasps in the range of 5-8 missing teeth in 1 dental arch

-Filling missing teeth with a partial denture only with straight bent clasps in the range of more than 8 missing teeth in 1 dental arch.
