I am a woman of 25 years old. I often feel pain in my chest (like a squeezing heart). I am already a few years old, and during this time I have noticed a relationship with blood pressure - then I have a strange pressure of 49/174, 52/163, 53/186, sometimes even the blood pressure monitor is not able to measure despite several attempts (I tried using different devices) . I go to sleep then and it usually passes by morning, but there is still some anxiety about what it is related to. I have already visited cardiologists twice, even once at the hospital examination because I passed out on the stairs and broke myself. They conducted tests which showed that morphological changes in the heart were missing, neurological changes were missing, blood was ok, all the results were okay and I don't know where to look for the cause. Doctors do not believe in my condition, but sometimes it bothers me more and more. What tests are you suggesting to do? Where to go with it?
Hello, An opinion on your he alth and the observed changes in pressure can only be issued by the attending physician after examination in the office and reading the original test results. From a theoretical point of view, there may be cardiac arrhythmias (very fast, uneven beats) that change the blood pressure reading. Not all electronic instruments are suitable for measuring blood pressure when there is an arrhythmia. The very fact of pressure variability is normal, but the values you quoted have too large a dispersion between the systolic diastolic pressure - the most likely cause is inaccurate reading due to uneven heartbeat. The matter may be explained by taking 24/7 blood pressure measurements and 24/7 ECG (so-called Holter tests).
