Today I noticed lice at my sister's, a lot. What can I do to prevent head lice? What preparations to use?

I suggest using an anti-head lice shampoo, preferably with dimethicone, a synthetic silicone oil which, thanks to its low surface tension, penetrates even the smallest gaps. Treatment should cover the entire family. After the treatment is over, you need to disinfect all items used for hair care (brushes, combs) by boiling for 5 minutes. You should wash underwear, bed linen, towels and contaminated clothing at a high temperature (minimum 55 degrees Celsius, and better more). If something cannot be washed, e.g. plush toys, they must be sealed in a plastic bag and left for three weeks - without access to the host, the louse will die after a few days, but we must wait for the nits to hatch and the new lice created in this way to die . You also need to thoroughly vacuum all rugs, armchairs and sofas.
