I suspect periodontitis. There is a lot of talk about the fact that it is a hereditary disease. Is it true? My mother and grandfather also suffer from it. A year ago, I had nice teeth without gaps. Now I have a gap between the top 1s, and recently I have noticed gaps between the top 2s as well. Earlier, at this point, I had gum. I am very worried that this is an irreversible process! I'm only 30 years old. Will it stay that way? I also noticed that the top ones and twos move slightly. What should I do?
I advise you to consult a periodontist. Good oral hygiene and regular professional tooth cleaning can stop this disease. I advise you not to delay the decision to consult a specialist. The sooner a specialist sees you, the sooner your periodontitis can be treated. Of course, without seeing the condition of the gums and teeth, the answer is not complete. The genetic factor is only one of the factors influencing the course of this disease, and a bacterial factor is needed for development. Despite unfavorable genes, it is possible to stop the development of the disease through careful hygiene and regular checkups with a periodontist.
