I had a miscarriage in April 2022. I am 27 years old. It was a spontaneous complete miscarriage. I haven't had surgery. I had my last bleeding / spotting in early August 2022 and nothing has come up since then. I didn't have a period at all. I live in the UK and I cannot go to the gynecologist for tests, and the doctor does not want to prescribe me an ultrasound referral or medication to induce menstruation, but keep me waiting. 2 months ago I only got rid of anemia. Could the amenorrhea be caused by anemia? And is it normal that the period could not come up for so long?
Anemia may disturb the regularity of menstruation, but not so much that there is no menstruation for a year. At the very least, you require diagnostic tests to identify the cause and, given your age, appropriate treatment.
