I have had a problem for many years. But only recently did I realize that he exists. I lie regularly. I can do it in any situation. For various reasons. I modify reality so that sometimes I don't control it. I don't live my life anymore, only this made up one. I don't know what to do with this fact, where to report it. I am afraid of what is and what will be.

A lie, in its essence, is always supposed to protect us from something or to put us in a better light. We are to avoid any unpleasant consequences or gain some profit from changing reality into unreality. Why are you doing this? You did not include enough information in the e-mail for me to be able to specify it. It is up to you to answer this question yourself. What do you want to avoid? What to achieve? Is your life boring? Not interesting? do you need stronger impressions, emotions? Would you like to change something, be different? It is important what and how you change. It is important to consider what are the reasons for this. At your age, the whole situation may come from not accepting your current position, not accepting yourself as you really are. If this is the case then dealing with these aspects will be the main solution to your problem. Or maybe there is something else? I do not know. Perhaps it would be worth going to a consultation with a nice psychologist who would take a closer look at the whole matter. All solutions are in you only you have to get to them. For sure it will be difficult on your own, although it is not impossible.

Remember that our expert's answer is informative and will not replace a visit to the doctor.
