I have been feeling the fear of going crazy for some time. Then I have a panic attack and my heart rate increases to 160, I also feel muscle tremors, nausea and diarrhea. I'm afraid to leave the house at such a moment. I must add that I have a mild obsessive-compulsive disorder. Is it possible to go crazy with such a panic attack?
You cannot "go crazy" from such an anxiety attack. Such fears are very common in fearful people, it is a great discomfort but does not result in anything bad. Remember that anxiety does not necessarily mean psychosis. However, go to a psychiatrist.
