Even if you like surprises, a visit to the SPA should be planned in detail. Thanks to this, you will be able to focus only on rest and you will come back more beautiful.

SPA centersare oases of relaxation - at least by definition. In practice, it can be different, and the blame for an unsuccessful stay does not always lie with the owner of the facility. Sometimes the mood of the guests can be spoiled by small things, such as noisy children or bad weather, which makes it difficult or even impossible to use some of the attractions. In order to avoid unpleasant surprises, it is worth planning your visit carefully. What is worth remembering and what to check before booking a seat?

Object type and location

SPA centers are usually located in hotels. These, in turn, can be smaller or larger, provide a range of services (or only the basic ones), located in an attractive neighborhood - or on the contrary. It's all worth checking before you book a place or buy a SPA package, especially if you plan to stay for at least a few days. You can check the surroundings of the hotel and whether there will be anywhere to go after the treatments (which will not take the whole day), for example with the help of internet maps, blogs and devices for tracking location in telephone applications. If you want peace and quiet, make sure the hotel has a children-restricted area (or choose a so-called "no children" hotel).

Appointment date

Long weekends, pre-holiday periods or winter breaks or summer vacations are the times when hotels are under siege. It is hard to relax in the crowd - it may not be felt during treatments that come on an agreed date, but the crush at the pool and crowds in the hotel restaurant is something that can effectively spoil your mood. Therefore, it is better to choose a calmer date for a visit to the SPA. It is better to avoid crowds when you use the city SPA. The quietest days are those in the middle of the week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), in the morning, when everyone is at work.

Weather

Important if you are going to the SPA for a few days, because the treatments are then spread over time. Bitter frost or heavy rain can trap you in a hotel and affect your mood. If you book your visit several weeks in advance, it is worth taking a look in advancelong-term weather forecast.

Length of stay

It should depend not so much on the size of your wallet as on the effect you want to achieve. If you want to firm your body or reduce wrinkles , one treatment is not enough - you need at least a few of them, otherwise you may rest, but the care effect will be mediocre, or even none.

Treatment packages

Virtually every SPA center offers some combined packages, in which treatments are tailored to a specific problem - and are cheaper than purchased separately. It is worth getting acquainted with the offer of several centers.

Number of treatments

A visit to the SPA should not resemble a race from one treatment to another. Such a marathon does not relax, but even tires. There should be at least two hours between treatments.

Care plan

It is arranged on the spot, but before the treatment begins. Roughly, the point is that the treatments should take place in a specific sequence, because then they will not cancel each other out. For example, body massageshould be done beforewaxing , not after -waxingof the skin that is warmed up, it hurts less, and if the treatments were performed in reverse order, the hairs could start growing into the skin.
