Sanatorium: who pays for what?
The Fund pays for medical care and three types of treatments. You can take advantage of additional treatments, but you pay for them out of your own pocket. The same as the trip to the sanatorium and back. Children aged 3-6 may go to the sanatorium with a parent or guardian, but the accompanying person bears full payment for their stay. You also pay a spa fee of no more than PLN 3.33 per day.
The second period is more expensive - from May 1 to September 30, while in the first settlement period, from October 1 to April 30, it is cheaper.
Payment for a stay in a spa sanatorium differs depending on the settlement season in which the treatment takes place. If your stay in a spa sanatorium falls in two billing seasons, the amount of the partial payment is calculated taking into account the number of days in a given billing season, respectively.
