When I'm ovulating, I have severe ovarian pain and little bleeding. I wanted to ask what this could be related to and could it be dangerous for a future pregnancy? I also note that I have regular periods and I do not take hormonal drugs.
Pain and bleeding during ovulationhave 75% of women. The pain is related to the rupture of the Graaf follicle and the release of the egg. The fluid that pours out of the follicle irritates the peritoneum and causes pain. Bleeding for one or two days is a symptom of a slight, physiological decrease in estradiol levels. The above symptoms are evidence of a normal ovulatory menstrual cycle.
