Skin diseases, i.e. dermatoses, also apply to hair and nails, which makes it a very large and diverse group of diseases. Some of them are not very bothersome, others cause pain, disfigure - especially scalp diseases or those visible on the face. If left untreated, they can turn into more serious diseases. Check the types of skin, hair and nail diseases.
Skin diseaseshave various causes and course, but they have one thing in common - they are difficult to accept for patients. According to many of them, the most troublesome are scalp diseases and those whose symptoms are visible on the face and hands. Skin diseases can appear as spots, papules, blisters, cysts, nodules, blisters, erythema or pustules. These symptoms may be accompanied by itching, burning of the skin and soreness.
The most common skin diseases include an allergic reaction, mycosis, acne and atopic dermatitis. On the other hand, diseases of the scalp most often relate to dandruff and excessive hair loss, which leads to baldness.
On the other hand, the essence of nail diseases is usually inflammation. Skin diseases can have various causes. The most common skin diseases are parasitic, viral, bacterial or fungal - these are infectious skin diseases. There are also allergic skin diseases and autoimmune skin diseases - these cannot be infected.
