I am currently taking painkillers for my spine (Meloxam) and antihistamines (Allertec) and occasionally taking antibiotics (mainly Forcid and Augmentin). I suffer from backache, allergy and quite often staphylococcal sore throat. However, for several years my psyche has been getting worse and worse. I am a loner, I suffer from depression and have social anxiety. During the consultation, the psychologist recommended that I see a psychiatrist. I am afraid that I will have to take some psychological drugs and I do not know if they can be combined with the above mentioned ones that I am constantly taking.
In the constellation of all these he alth problems, severe depression can be the greatest suffering, affecting others, and making treatment difficult. The treatment of the psyche always influences the condition of the body, it is impossible to separate these two spheres. Yes, antidepressants can cause bodily side effects, and there can be adverse drug interactions. Therefore, in such more complicated situations, treatment of depression should be carried out by a psychiatrist. "Drugs for the psyche" should give you hope, not fear. Regards!
