Is mucosal hypertrophy in a perimenopausal woman (bleeding still occurs, the last bleeding was long and heavy) very dangerous? The last visit to the gynecologist was six months ago and there was no hypertrophy, but today the examination showed 30 mm.
I can only guess that the thickness of the endometrium on ultrasound is 30 mm. On this basis, nothing can be diagnosed. Such a thick endometrium is an indication for the procedure and collection of material for histopathological examination, which will only show what type of changes are, and then it will be known if and how to treat them.
