Hello. For some time I have noticed the so-called dirty knees. At first I thought they were bruises, bruised knees - after work, like kneeling sometimes or something like that - but unfortunately I was wrong, because they don't disappear at all, and I think they are getting bigger. These are dark spots below the knee, as if dirty, bruised. It bothers me a lot and it looks ugly if I wear a skirt or shorts. Is there any whitening and brightening cream for this? Please help. Thank you. I would add that I used lemon compresses, but they didn't help. I am asking for help.

In the case of these changes, creams or ointments containing salicylic acid and urea can be used. It is also necessary to have your thyroid hormones checked (this may be a symptom of an underactive thyroid gland). Please visit a dermatologist who will determine further procedures after the medical examination.
