Mask makeup - cream or foundation?

To hide minor skin imperfections, all you need to do istoning cream . It is a cosmetic containing illuminating pigments that even out the skin tone. You can also mix a little regular cream with a drop of brightening foundation - thanks to this, it will have a very light consistency and delicate covering properties. Spread it in a thin layer, and when it is absorbed, sprinkle the face with powder. However, if the effect is not satisfactory, reach for cosmetics "for special tasks" - concealers and foundations.

Mask makeup - how to apply foundation?

  1. When choosing the color of the foundation, test it on your face or neck, not on your wrist or hand. If you want to find the perfect foundation, remove your makeup before going to the store. Then apply a little cosmetic, e.g. on the cheek and wait a while - the cosmetic will oxidize and the color will stabilize and you will be sure that you are buying the right foundation.
  2. If you cannot find the perfect shade of foundation, choose a shade darker. Too light gives the skin an unnatural, sick appearance. Look for a cosmetic with the addition of warm, apricot pigments. Cold shades - light beige, porcelain pink - unfavorably emphasize the shade of cool complexion, typical for most Polish women.
  3. Remember to apply the foundation with a brush or sponges. Why is it so important to do once in a whilealways forget to apply foundation with your fingers? Under the influence of hand heat, the powder becomes more fluid, which may be unevenly distributed on the face. As a result, instead of a perfectly smooth complexion, unsightly streaks may appear on the face.

  5. Be careful not to apply too much cosmetic, especially around fine lines. An excess of undercoat can accentuate unwanted furrows instead of masking them. The deposition of the cosmetic between the folds of the skin does not look aesthetically pleasing. Remember that you can always remove the excess with a tissue.
  6. Take a look at your face and think if you really need to apply foundation to its entire area. Perhaps it is enough to apply a make-up masking only imperfect points in the T zone.

If, however, we want to mask the shadows under the eyes with a liquid concealer or use it to contour the face, apply it after the foundation.
  2. If we have extremely persistent imperfections, we can cover them with concealer after applying the foundation. However, you should pay attention to whether the shades of the concealer and powder do not differ significantly from each other.
  3. The corrector can also mask dilated capillaries. It is best to use a green concealer, which we apply to the skin before the foundation.
