In case of contact eczema, it is worth doing patch tests to identify allergens. In addition to eliminating allergens, proper skin care is important. It is worth using intensively moisturizing and oiling preparations every day. Pharmacies offer a wide range of products (washing preparations and creams) containing emollients based on paraffin, petroleum jelly, hypoallergenic lanolin, vegetable oils, borage, wheat and avocado. The second group of preparations are water-absorbing humectants (propylene glycol, glycerin, ceramides, urea, lactic acid).
