I'm 14 and have a thrush problem. Where did they come from, how to treat them, how to prevent them? Herpes occurs sporadically. I use Zovirax, but it is not always effective. Is it possible to get rid of it?
Thrush is caused by an infection with fungi from the yeast group. They may be a symptom of immunosuppression or result from infection with objects such as a teaspoon or glass. They require differentiation with other dermatological diseases, e.g. allergy. For this reason, you should visit a dermatologist who will make a final diagnosis and apply the appropriate treatment. In the case of recurrent "cold" - herpes simplex, oral antiviral therapy is necessary, which can eliminate the disease completely or at least reduce the frequency of relapses.
