My mom took offense at my partner because he didn't buy her a ticket. This situation lasts for almost half a year. He insults him when I mention him and criticizes everything related to him. I am 27 years old, we are in a relationship and we want to have a child, and I am afraid that my mother will push them away for my partner being his father. My boyfriend helped us a lot financially, but my mother probably forgot about it, because now she treats him as much as possible for a ticket that cost PLN 60.
The most important question to me is, what is the meaning of your mother's regrets in practice? Are you going to live together? If not, just don't worry. Regardless of this, set limits to your mother, telling her that you do not want her to offend your man - especially since he helped you in real need. That help doesn't mean it's supposed to cover any of mom's expenses. As for "pushing" the child away - I don't think that will happen. The most important thing, however, is not to make getting pregnant dependent on your mother's moods.
