I have tiny spots on the back of my thighs, buttocks, arms and forearms that make my skin feel rough and unpleasant to the touch. The pimples are small, usually not red, and cannot be squeezed out. A scrub and a seagrass mitt in combination with moisturizing lotions are not enough. Where do these imperfections come from and how can I get rid of them? I've heard it's a result of a bad metabolism, but still don't know what to do to get rid of the roughness. I am asking for tips and thank you in advance for your answer.
Folliculitis is associated with a trait in the skin known as follicular keratosis. In the first stage, we use antibacterial drugs, and then, in order to prevent the recurrence of lesions, we use exfoliating and moisturizing preparations.
Keratosis pilaris is a genetic disease. Unfortunately, it remains for life, but with proper skin care, it may be invisible. In the case of this ailment, you should act in two directions: intensely lubricate the skin and use exfoliating medications or cosmetics (retinoids, azelaic acid, glycol peels).
Systematic behavior is important. Symptoms will recur if treatment is interrupted.
