I'm only 17 years old and my hands are terrible, they are so dry my skin is starting to crack. I always clean with gloves, I use Dove soap or hypoallergenic soap, and after each wash I creamy them with creams for very dry skin. I've already tried paraffin, cotton gloves and nothing helps. When I don't cream them and look at them, they look like they are covered in flour, and this is that dry skin. Sometimes they break and I am ashamed to shake my hands in greeting because they are so rough. What should I do?

Unfortunately, in order to make a proper diagnosis, it is necessary to perform a dermatological examination. Certainly, special care for such skin is necessary. It is worth using intensively moisturizing and oiling preparations every day. Pharmacies offer a wide range of products (washing preparations and creams) containing emollients based on paraffin, petroleum jelly, hypoallergenic lanolin, vegetable oils, borage, wheat and avocado. The second group of preparations are water-absorbing humectants (propylene glycol, glycerin, ceramides, urea, lactic acid).
