It is worth drinking it every day not because of its taste, but above all for its he alth benefits. It has an excellent effect on eyesight, improves the condition of the skin, strengthens immunity, and may also protect against the development of cancer - and these are not all of its properties.
Carrot juicehas a beautiful orange color and tastes great. But it doesn't really have to be orange - in Poland you can also buy other varieties of carrots, including white, yellow, purple, red or black. Purple and black carrots are rich in compounds with strong antioxidant properties.

Carrot juice can be bought in any store - both fresh, for one day, as well as packed in a box or a bottle. However, the juice you prepare yourself at home, just before drinking, will be much better. However, the quality of the carrots you use is important. Carrots from the juice variety are the best.
It must be firm, firm, fresh - otherwise the juice will not be as tasty, it may be slightly bitter, and it may also lose some of its nutritional value. It is worth buying carrots from organic or controlled crops, because then the risk that they contain toxic substances from soil or plant protection products significantly decreases.
How much juice can you drink a day?
Carrot juice is he althy, but it's better not to overdo it. As explained by Dr. Dariusz Włodarek, doctor, dietitian and nutritionist, Head of the Dietetics Department of the Institute of Human Nutrition, Warsaw University of Life Sciences: - Juices, both fruit and vegetable available in the store, are the "liquid form" of products from which they are made, because provide similar amounts of nutrients.

The easiest and fastest way to prepare pure carrot juice without any additives is in a juicer by passing a few or a dozen pieces of chopped carrot through it. You can also make it in a blender or squeeze it in a slow juicer, although then it takes a bit longer.

Recipe for carrot, apple and beetroot juice
Ingredients (for approx. 250 ml)
- 1 big carrot
- 1 beetroot
- 1-2 apples
- juice squeezed from one small lemon (optional)
Peel the carrot and beetroot, cut the apples with the skin (remove the seed nests), then press them through a juicer or squeezer. Season the finished juice with lemon juice.
Recipe for carrot, pineapple, orange and ginger juice
Ingredients:
- 2 large carrots
- a few slices of pineapple
- juice squeezed from one orange
- a slice of fresh ginger
