My 4-year-old baby has blisters and bedbugs bitten him. The pediatricians insist it is hives and allergies, and the dermatologist says it is bites. We changed the bed, the sheets, we sanitized the room, and this still shows up. Can you take a test that says it's a bite or not?
In case of diagnostic doubts, the conclusive examination is the histopathological examination. However, it is uncomfortable for such a young child, so in this case a solid medical history and physical examination should help resolve the dilemma. I suggest visiting a pediatric dermatologist.
