I would like to know if looking at photos of famous people (actresses, models, presenters in newspapers and TV) is something permissible? I am in a long-distance relationship, I cannot have sexual contact with my girlfriend. Occasionally I need to look at a photo of a famous person and feel a feeling of excitement. All I need is a photo in a women's magazine, what can I do with it?
In my opinion, you first of all need to talk to your partner about your sexual needs. I also think it would be a good idea for you to contact a sexologist.
Long-distance relationships are a very difficult matter for both people. There is no touch, physical contact or the usual closeness that a person needs to build a relationship. You must also remember that sex is our basic need. Lack of sex causes tension or frustration. Man begins to look for derivatives of love, e.g. in newspapers or erotic movies, and thanks to these things, he relieves the tension that is in him. The consequence of this is that it becomes addicted to these derivatives. He no longer needs a second person to build a lasting relationship, he will be satisfied with a film or newspaper with an erotic (or other) color.
I can't tell you whether you are doing right or wrong when looking at pictures of other women, because you have to know it yourself. However, I believe that relieving sexual tension by watching pornographic newspapers or movies is dangerous and leads to addiction. From what you write in your letter - you do not practice such methods. However, please keep that in mind. An honest conversation with your partner should solve your problem. If this does not help, please contact a sexologist or psychologist. Good luck!
