I am 20 years old and I have had psoriasis practically from birth. My doctor treats me with the same ointments over and over, which is not bringing the expected results. The disease affects a large part of the skin and is troublesome. What other methods can I use?
There are many types of pills used to treat psoriasis. If there is no improvement after spreading drugs, we use PUVA irradiation or oral treatment depending on the type and extent of psoriasis lesions. In each case of recurrent psoriasis, it is necessary to conduct tests to see if there is any additional cause in the body, such as an infection that stimulates the formation of skin lesions.
