In April 2022 I was diagnosed with Cushing's disease. I underwent surgery to remove a pituitary tumor. ACTH is back to normal, unfortunately I still have adrenal insufficiency. I have very low morning cortisol levels. I am taking Hydrocortisol 30 mg daily. I wonder if my adrenals will ever "move" or is it possible that I will have to take steroids for the rest of my life? And is it safe to get pregnant if I'm taking Hydrocortisol?

You should talk to your doctor about treatment prognosis. The procedure you performed consisted in the removal of an ACTH-secreting adenoma. ACTH is a hormone that stimulates the adrenal glands to produce hormones. Lack of ACTH means that the adrenal glands do not produce hormones, or they produce too little hormones, hence the need for substitution. Hydrocortisone does not prevent pregnancy and does not pass through the placenta.
