What is an adrenal tumor and how can you fight it?

Hello,
The adrenal glands are the endocrine glands located above the upper poles of the kidneys. They secrete several important hormones necessary for the proper functioning of the body. Hormones can be secreted through the core (inner part of the adrenal gland) or the cortex (outer part). Some people develop abnormal tissue in the cortex or medulla of the adrenal gland and develop a tumor that may be inactive or secreting hormones. Management depends on whether or not the tumor is secreting hormones. Hormone-secreting tumors are usually treated with surgery, in rare cases called adrenal cortex microbes, it is possible to eliminate excess hormones with the help of special drugs in the form of tablets. Hormonally inactive tumors are called incidentalomas (the name comes from the fact that they are usually accidentally detected during ultrasound examination ordered for other reasons) and the management of an incidentaloma depends on their size. Small-size incidentomas (up to 3-4 cm) are usually observed for their enlargement, larger ones, if they cause symptoms of pressure on the area, are usually treated with surgery. Thus, the management of a diagnosis of an adrenal tumor depends on a number of parameters which are different for each patient.
