Rosehip tincture - composition and properties

Rosehip tincture is a real vitamin bomb. There is more vitamin C in it than in any other fruit tincture (in wild fruit it is different30-40 times morethan in citrus). In addition to vitamin C, it also contains:

  • vitamin E and K,
  • folic acid,

Ingredients for rosehip tincture

• 1 kg of rosehips

• 0.75 l of spirit 96 percent.

• 0.5 l of vodka 40%

• 0.5 l of light honey

• 0.5 l of water

• 5 carnations

• a teaspoon of dried mint and dried chamomile flower

Rosehip tincture - recipe

1. Wash the fruit, dry it and put it in the freezer for 24 hours.

2. Puncture with a pin, put into a jar, add herbs, pour alcohol.

3. Put it warm for 4-6 weeks, shaking the jar every few days. Strain, firmly squeezing the fruit juice.

4. Set aside for a week and filter a few times. Mix the honey with warm water, heat it up and collect the scum.

5. When it gets coldadd vodka and combine with the setting.

6. Żenicha must mature in a cool place for at least 2 months.
