  • 2 l vegetable stock,
  • 100 ml double cream,

  • 2 sweet potatoes,
  • a pinch of ground nutmeg,
  • freshly ground black pepper and s alt

Preparation method:

1. Peel the pumpkin from the skin, remove the seeds and dice it. Then, peel and dice the potatoes.

2. In a pot, heat the butter, add the finely chopped onion and garlic squeezed through the press. All glazed. Then add the pumpkin and potatoes. Pour in at the endadd the broth to the pot and cook it, covered, over low heat for about 40 minutes.

Ingredients (for 2 servings):

  • half a kilo of pumpkin,
  • half a small celery,
  • 3 medium carrots,
  • spices: ginger (10 g), 1 teaspoon of curry powder, a pinch of chili pepper (powdered), s alt and pepper,
  • juice from 1/3 lemon,
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil.

Preparation method:

1. Remove seeds from the pumpkin, peel it and dice it. Then, peel and slice the celery and carrots as well. Chop the ginger.

2. Put all the vegetables and ginger in the pot and pour water over it. Then season with a pinch of s alt and a tablespoon of olive oil and mix. Simmer the soup for about 30 minutes (until the vegetables are tender). Finally, add the lemon juice and season with the remaining spices.

The soup can be served with croutons or garlic bread (brush the slices of bread with butter grated with garlic and bake in the oven).
