Ginseng infusion - how to brew?

To prepare an infusion of ginseng you need a root - in Poland you can usually get Siberian ginseng root. It is harvested at the end of September and dried at 70 degrees Celsius. You can buy it in the form of cut strips that can be infused to make a drink.

Ginseng infusion has a light yellow color, a woody scent and a mild, bitter-sweet flavor. In Asia, adding ginseng to teas and making them into infusions is very popular. It can be considered to be used similarly to ginger, by adding it to tea for he alth purposes - e.g. in the first days of infection.

Brewing method:

Pour approximately 2 grams of dried and chopped ginseng root into a glass, then pour boiling water over it and cover. After 7 minutes, drain the liquid and after cooling it you can drink it.
