My girlfriend is 14 and I is 16. She is depressed. He has been wanting to kill himself for a long time and says goodbye to me practically every day. I do not know what to do. I try to help, she even asks me for help sometimes, but I feel helpless. I encourage her to report to a specialist. However, she does not want to tell her parents about this disease, because she is afraid and knows that they will not understand it anyway. She doesn't want to go to the doctor either, because she thinks the doctor will order her to death. What to do? How to cure her? Will it be possible without visiting a doctor?
This situation is beyond your help. You have to tell her this openly and convey the matter to her parents, relatives or a doctor. She disagrees, but she doesn't want her declarations to be taken seriously. And if they are serious, they will understand that life cannot remain idle in the face of danger. Under Polish law, such situations qualify for involuntary treatment in a psychiatric hospital until the threat is resolved. Patients may have a grudge against it, but after they recover, they stop having it and enjoy their regained life. Regards!
