Elżbieta Dzikowska says that the hedgehog has become her corporate hairstyle. A traveler because it's convenient. And he travels constantly! It is her way of life, but also an addiction from which she cannot free herself. And I do not want to! Because he gives her happiness.

Elżbieta Dzikowska:Do you think that, for my age, I look young and in good shape? Thank you. I am of this opinion too! (laughs) I think that to stay young you need a positive attitude towards the world: you have to smile, not complain.

You can develop a good approach to life! Of course, genes are important, just like the environment in which we live, but we also shape our own character. We can learn good habits, take what's best from others and pay them back.

Elżbieta Dzikowska: Giving gives more pleasure than taking

And when we feel needed by someone, we want to live! A job that gives satisfaction is also important. Fortunately, I do what I love. Now - even though I have been retired for a long time - I have more responsibilities than when I had regular radio and TV broadcasts.

I used to shoot documentaries, now I write books. Today, however, I am most absorbed in promoting Poland, because it is beautiful and interesting. In the past, I showed Poles a closed world. Today it is open, so they visit it themselves. As a result, they are less interested in Poland, and they should get to know it first!

After "Pea and cabbage, or travel around Poland" I published "Poland known and less known", and I am currently working on its second volume. I think that when you travel, meet new people, discover unknown places, you don't get stressed with just anything.

Another thing - movement! You have to move a lot! When I write, I sit at my desk for a few hours, and because of that I have back problems … So I take breaks to move around a bit. I often walk, if I have more time, I go to the swimming pool and start each day with a short exercise. I recommend! Even such simple exercises keep us in better condition, also mentally, because when the blood circulates faster in the body, the brain is better oxygenated.

A he althy diet is also very important. I eat a lot of lettuce - because they say green is good for my eyes, and I have trouble with them - and fish, at least twice a week. And good cosmetics won't hurt either, ifwe want to look better. (laughs) Just as a shoe has to be well groomed, our skin needs to be nourished, otherwise it will dry out.

Elżbieta Dzikowska: What makes me happy? Piece! I am in constant contact with her

I go to the philharmonic hall, theater, gallery, for example, I photograph myself. I used to be made happy by men, but my two husbands are gone … But I have friends, I don't feel lonely.

I also meet with great kindness at the author's meetings. People greet me, ask for an autograph - it means that my work was not in vain! Good relationships with people: with family, friends, but also with strangers, give life energy.

I can talk to people on the street! I tease my neighbors: "What's up?", "How are you?", "Can I help you?". Pablo Neruda wrote a poem in which the words were said: "He who does not travel, read books, listen to music, observe the world and talk to strangers slowly dies." This is a great truth.
