For new parents, changing a diaper can be a concern. We will dispel them all!

It would seem that there is nothing easier than changing a diaper. And yet! At first, even these few moves raise doubts. "Am I not buckling it too tight?", "Is the pupa really well cleaned?". Relax, it's not that hard at all. Make sure you have a changing area in advance. The best is a special changing table with limiters that prevent the baby from accidentally sliding off it. Covered with waterproof plastic, it guarantees that even if the toddler pee while changing, the content will not soak into the ground. Place the things you need on the changing table: a fresh nappy, wet wipes for cleansing the bottom, cream to prevent diaper rash and diaper rash.

How to do it?

  • Put your baby on the changing table. Make sure that he is lying comfortably and that nothing is bothering him.
  • Unfasten the tabs on which the diaper is fastened.
  • If the child only pee, it is enough to wipe the bottom with cotton wool soaked in warm (preferably boiled) water or with a damp tissue. If there is more to the diaper, you need to clean the pupa of feces. You clean a girl's bottom differently than a boy's bottom. In the case of a girl, open the labia a little, use a tissue or a cotton pad to wash off the dirt, with a movement from top to bottom, towards the anus. Do it very gently, because too strong movements can damage the mucosa. For the boy, do not move the foreskin away, but gently remove the dirt from the skin, slightly revealing the opening of the urethra.
  • Once the pupa is clean, apply a cream to prevent diaper rash and diaper rash.
  • Now put a diaper under your bottom (remember that the drawing on the diaper is always in front). Fasten it so that it adheres tightly to the skin, but does not press on the baby - the elastic sides of the diaper should not be too tight. Make sure that the diaper fits snugly around the baby's feet and that it does not pinch him.

Note! When cleaning the bum, hold your baby's legs up with your hand, but never lift your baby by the legs, as you may damage his hips and joints.
