Can a mother take up work during the maternity and parental leave? If so, in what dimension?
The provisions of the labor law do not regulate the issue of taking up employment by an employee on maternity leave. It seems that since there are no statutory contraindications, such a practice is permissible.
On the other hand, an employee who is on parental leave may work for both the current and the new employer during the leave, provided that the performance of work does not make it impossible to take personal care of the child. An employee using additional maternity leave / additional leave under the terms of maternity leave may combine this leave with the employment of the employer who granted this leave, in the amount not exceeding half of the full-time working time. Then, the maternity benefit is reduced in proportion to the working time in which the employee works while benefiting from which of the above-mentioned holidays. This rule applies only to employees and does not apply to insured non-employees.
