If you accept yourself, you will also accept whatever fate brings you. Here are thirteen steps to feel good in your own company.

Here are 13 steps to make you feel good about yourself

Just make friends with each other! For what? Everything will become easier. After all, it is easier to go through life with someone you like than with your own enemy. Thanks to this, you will create a successful and lasting relationship, you will find true friends and happiness. You will become stronger and more self-confident.

1. Verify friends

Cut off contacts with people who aren't kind to you. Put limits on your loved ones trying to influence your life. Reach out to your friends, ask them for help, and let them help. Don't be shy to admit you need some support. This is a sign of wisdom and strength.

2. Tolerate your own weakness

Stop making your self-esteem dependent on your performance. You can lose your job, fail to cope with a professional task, even gain a few kilos. It doesn't mean that you are worthless.

3. Don't criticize yourself

Self-criticism makes you want to be perfect. This is impossible and only leads to frustration and self-destructive behavior (overeating, drugs, alcohol). Accept the fact that no one is perfect. But living with yourself can be great. You can wake up and feel the joy that you will spend another day together. Once you love yourself, you will automatically let the best of you come out.

4. Have fun

When in a restaurant, order whatever you want, regardless of the price, calories, etc. Buy yourself sometimes fashionable clothes, perfumes. Go to the cinema or theater. Make a basket of surprises: on the cards, write down the little things that you enjoy, e.g. dinner with a friend, chocolate with nuts, a long bath. Draw one in the morning and … redeem it.!

5. Learn to accept compliments

Notice how you react when others try to offer you love, sympathy or acceptance. Skeptical? If so, try to act differently next time. If your friend tells you that you have a nice dress, do not answer that it is old and made of rubber, but thank her fora compliment.

6. Stop comparing yourself to others

Each of us is unique, individual. Comparing yourself with others will only make you complex - there will always be someone better than you, wiser, prettier. If you feel too fat, for example, sign up for a fitness class or go to a dietitian. This way you will raise your self-esteem.

7. Enjoy sex

Realize that your satisfaction is just as important as your partner's. Only when you feel satisfied yourself can you give pleasure to the other person.

8. Respect yourself

Don't let people mistreat you or you will lose your self-respect. If you don't know how to be assertive, read the guide or sign up for a course.

9. Take care of your body

Read the literature on dietetics. Choose the optimal diet to maintain high energy levels. Do some research on the different forms of fitness: what exercises do you enjoy the most? Take care of your body and appearance - dress nicely, visit the hairdresser and beautician. Try to get a good night's sleep for at least 7 hours.

10. Work with a mirror

Look yourself in the eyes as often as possible. Let your love for yourself grow! Express it regularly. When you look in the mirror, excuse yourself from your mistakes. At least once a day, repeat: "I love you, I really love you."

11. Be good to yourself

And also gentle, kind and patient. Think good about yourself. Treat yourself as if you were treating your best friend. Find an image in your head that makes you happy, and as soon as you notice that black clouds are gathering, switch your thoughts to pleasant ones.

12. Praise yourself

Criticism cuts wings, praise rises. Therefore, praise yourself for the smallest achievements as often as possible. Tell yourself often how well you are doing. Start small. Did you do something that seemed difficult? Tell yourself that you are great. If you do it once, it won't do you any good. Repeat this to yourself every time, at least for a minute. When something goes wrong, don't think of yourself as a loser, because next time you won't take up the challenge at all. Rather, think about how to improve it and congratulate yourself on the idea.

13. Make a mistake every now and then

Be tolerant of your handicaps. Don't fight them by force. Give yourself the right to be imperfect. Everyone makes mistakes! You don't have to be perfect in every way. The most important thing is that you can draw positive conclusions onthe future.

Polish women lack self-acceptance. The most disagreeable with the shape of their stomach, legs and nose

Studies commissioned by WHO show that at least 90 percent. young Polish women complain about their appearance, and only 5 percent. of the respondents fully accepts their body and feels good naked. The most common reason for the complexes is the shape of the abdomen and extra pounds. According to Dr. Katarzyna Jasiewicz, in most cases such an attitude results from low self-esteem cultivated for generations.
