Some time ago I went to the gynecologist for my first birth control pills. A doctor without examinations or a detailed interview prescribed me yasmin. Later I read on the forum for women that these pills endanger the he alth and sometimes even life of women. Apparently, in some EU countries they are added to the list of withdrawn from sale. I did not notice any ailments listed there. However, I would like to know more about it.
First, internet forums are not the best source of medical information about birth control pills as well. There is no content supervision whatsoever, and everyone can write what they want and as much as they want. The contraceptive drug Yasmin of the German company Schering described by you was recognized as one of the most modern contraceptive drugs at the Conference of the European Society for Contraception in May 2006 in Istanbul. At the same time, based on the information I obtained from my fellow gynecologists from Germany, as well as from Schering's headquarters, the drug was not withdrawn from sale in any EU country. There is just that much truth in the information from the forum.
