At the age of 4 I suffered an injury to my right eye puncturing it with a wire. The operation was successful, but after some time the retina ruptured and atresia, which resulted in irreversible eye blindness. Currently, the eye is small with a visible scar. Is there a chance for e.g. an eyeball transplant or at least an improvement in the appearance of the eye? Maybe abroad?
There is no such thing as an eyeball transplant - if you only want to improve the appearance - you can consider removing the eyeball and inserting a cosmetic prosthesis in its place.
